Today my husband and I popped into Kia of Portland just to check out their inventory and weight out options with financing and such. We met with Lance and I immediately gathered that he was very genuine, straight-forward, and practical. We walked on site with a pre-determined estimate, as many of us do, and of course the right fit ended up being way beyond our budget. Lance was a gentle expert on explaining "you get what you pay for", in so many words without being forceful or tacky. We left the lot with 2016 Soul +. I feel very secure in our purchase and the coverage and warranty that Kia offers on pre-owed vehicles made it well-worth going over our budget. Before pulling out of the lot, Lance told me to immeditatley contact them if we have any problems. That's always a great sign after any sale. (This was also my first time buying a car through a dealership and not directly out of pocket.) So if any of you out there are intimidated by the whole idea of going through a dealership, skip the craigslist ads and go visit these knuckleheads. I'm happy to finally own a newer car that will be in the hands of a reliable company. Thanks again Lance!
Returned my leased 2015 Optima and got a new 2017 at basically the same terms. Did the whole thing in three hours on a Monday morning. Joe Mcbale was my sales guy and was great. Easy transaction. No funny business. Choice of colors and cars.
From start to finish, my experience at Kia was not only one of the best auto purchase experiences of my life, but overall best customer service across the board. I was immediately greeted by Joe Macbale. He asked me what kind of car I was interested in, to which I responded with "I want a car that's comfortable, but not big enough where I'm going to be stuck lugging my band's gear around after a show or being the guy that always is called on to help people move." (I'm kind of a jerk like that). Joe started me off in a hatch-back Forte that comes with all the special features. He said "I know this is more trunk space than you are looking for, but let's start at the top and see if you feel like you end up wanting any of the bonus features." We took the car for a spin and not only discussed the feel and features of the car, but Kia as a company overall. Joe did a great job selling me on the fact that I'm not just looking into a car, but a new relationship with a world class brand. The features were really solid, but I didn't need all of them enough to justify purchasing a deluxe model. When we got back to the lot, Joe immediately pulled out the car that was baseline to what I was initially asking for. He opened up the trunk and said "now look at how small that trunk is! There's no way you can fit more than your own equipment in there!" Perfect! (Please Note: Joe admitted that this was the first time less trunk space was a selling point). From there, we went in and began the negotiation process. Joe and his manager, Will, were awesome about explaining the breakdown of cost and why the deal on their website didn't apply to the car I was purchasing. I can't stress enough how satisfying this was. Usually, this sort of scenario would make me feel like I was duped in by some corporate marketing. However, the fine print was the fine print and no one made me feel the slightest bit uncomfortable for not doing all of the research. Next sidenote: Their coffee was really good. This probably helped my ease in the negotiation process. When all was done, I drive off with the EXACT car I wanted right on budget with what I could afford. I spent the rest of the day driving around blasting Billy Ocean from my new stereo system. The only downside is that I won't get to go in and get a new car from Joe for three years till after my lease is up. But you can guarantee it, I'll be going straight to Joe at Kia of Portland. Michael was excellent at listening to our requests and responding expeditiously with our quote. In fact, he was the quickest at responding to us with the price quote compared to other Kia dealerships we reached out to in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Utah. Also, Michael, over the series of our communication exchanges via phone, text, and email was excellent at making us feel that we were heard, clarifying ambiguity, and going the extra mile to get answers to all the questions we had, line by line; and was able to speak the truth regarding the facts instead of what we may have wanted to hear. After we had received all the facts and clarifications, we made the decision to purchase the Kia Sorento at the dealership, and we felt that Michael represented us well. This decision led us to fly to Portland on May 26, 2017, and Michael was generous to pick us up at the airport on time, drive us to the dealership, host us at the office, and walk us through all the steps necessary to purchase the vehicle. Additionally, he introduced us to the awesome Kia dealership team and allowed us to thoroughly review, inspect, and test the vehicle in the parking lot. In conclusion, Michael went the extra mile to make sure our experience was meaningful, successful, and very worthwhile. He truly cared for us for which we are extremely grateful, and we wish all sales people would exemplify the leadership and customer service qualities he exhibited.

I love the car. One gentlemen did say the trade in was only $250., but the paperwork said $600. I really did not expect much, but I do expect the truth. Mishele was so nice, I am sorry she lost her job. I have searched for the Hundai Title to no avail. Thank you.
